Connect TOPdesk to LogPulse

Incidents, changes, and CMDB assets flow into LogPulse automatically, searchable next to your infrastructure logs, and ready for SLA dashboards, service health KPIs, and security detections.

What the TOPdesk integration gives you

A managed template does the work: no agent to install, no scripts to maintain. Configure once, and your ITSM data stays in sync.

Incidents & changes, continuously

New and updated incidents or operator changes are pulled every 10 minutes via the TOPdesk REST API, incrementally, so nothing is fetched twice.

Your CMDB as searchable inventory

The Asset Management catalog syncs every 30 minutes. Every configuration item becomes a searchable event for dashboards and correlation.

Tickets next to your logs

Correlate a spike in errors with the incidents raised in the same window, in one LPQL query instead of two browser tabs.

Service health from ITSM data

Build KPIs on ticket data: resolution times, reopen rates, incident volume per category, and watch them alongside your technical service health.

Detections on ITSM patterns

Alert on what tickets reveal: an incident spike on one asset, changes outside the change window, or ticket patterns that match ongoing incidents.

EU-hosted, like TOPdesk itself

TOPdesk is a Dutch product; LogPulse keeps the data Dutch too. Everything is processed and stored in the EU (GCP Amsterdam), GDPR by default.

Connected in three steps

  1. 1

Create an application password in TOPdesk

In TOPdesk, go to My Settings and create an Application Password for an operator account with read access. No plugins, no middleware.

  2. 2

    Fill in the template wizard

Pick the TOPdesk Tickets or TOPdesk CMDB template in LogPulse, enter your TOPdesk host and operator login, and choose incidents or operator changes.

  3. 3

    Data flows, dashboards follow

Tickets sync every 10 minutes, assets every 30. From there it is regular LogPulse: search with LPQL, build dashboards and KPIs, enable detections.

What lands in LogPulse

Structured fields, ready to query; the raw record is preserved alongside.

  • Ticket number and status
  • Caller and operator
  • Category and subcategory
  • Priority
  • Brief description
  • Creation and modification timestamps
  • CMDB: every configuration item as a searchable event
  • The complete raw record for anything not mapped

TOPdesk integration FAQ

How does LogPulse connect to TOPdesk?
Through the TOPdesk REST API with an operator account and an application password (basic auth). A managed pipeline template polls the API on a schedule; there is no agent to install and nothing to host yourself.
How often does the data sync?
Tickets (incidents or operator changes) sync every 10 minutes, the CMDB every 30 minutes. Syncs are incremental: LogPulse tracks the last modification date and only fetches what changed since.
What does the TOPdesk integration cost?
Nothing extra. Managed pipeline templates are part of every LogPulse plan, and pricing is a flat monthly amount, so ITSM events do not create a per-GB surprise.
Is the connection secure?
The template only needs a read-capable operator account; the application password is stored encrypted as a secret and never appears in logs. All traffic is HTTPS and all processing happens in the EU.
